Welcome
Welcome to The St Saviour's Schools!
We are two medium sized schools in the heart of Larkhall in Bath. We believe strongly that an amazing primary education will lay the foundations for endless opportunities in learning and life.
We achieve this by aiming for excellence in everything we do. Only excellent is good enough - it is what all our children deserve.
In September 2019, we changed how our schools worked and created a formal partnership between the Nursery, Infant and Primary schools. This has given us the foundation to build something really special.
As church schools, we have close links with St Saviour's Church, Larkhall: https://www.stsaviours.org.uk/
Our Nursery Provision
Purpose built Nursery provision for 2 and 3 year olds up to school age. A dedicated Nursery building and outside area with the added bonus of full access to the Infant and Junior School sites, multiple outdoor spaces which include nature areas, sports pitches and award winning play facilities.
‘She loves nursery, adores her teachers, and literally skips in every single morning.’

Our Infant School
Reception to Year 2 classes are housed within our specialist Infant School, where children are nurtured through a highly inclusive, child‑centred approach to play and learning. We provide award‑winning environmental education as a Green Flag Eco‑School and are proud to be a UNICEF Rights Respecting School, placing children’s rights, voice and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do. As a Centre of Excellence for Oracy, communication, language and pupil voice are embedded from the very start of a child’s educational journey. The school has also achieved the highest Platinum OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) Award, reflecting our strong belief in the vital role of play in young children’s development.
The school is set within extensive grounds, including a conservation garden with a pond and rich wildlife, alongside a wild play area that enables an all‑year‑round Forest School experience. Children also enjoy access to a mini sports pitch and a range of dedicated play zones that promote curiosity, collaboration and physical development.
Our warm, welcoming and dedicated staff team is committed to giving every child the very best start to their school life, creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel valued, confident and eager to learn.
Our Junior School
An award‑winning Junior School where play and oracy sit at the heart of the educational offer.
We are a recognised Centre of Excellence for Oracy, ensuring pupils develop confidence, voice and strong communication skills alongside their academic learning. The school has achieved the highest Platinum OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) Award and is nationally recognised as having one of the very best play provisions in the country.
The Junior School provides a values‑led, rounded and broad education, where children experience a rich range of subjects and opportunities, supported by a highly skilled and dedicated staff team. Our site includes a modern, purpose‑built building, a play bus, opportunities for messy and water play, two large playgrounds, a mini sports pitch, a computing suite and a well‑resourced library – all designed to enhance learning, wellbeing and enjoyment.
‘I love coming to school and having fun. The teachers make me feel special. I like to be challenged, I am happy to take risks and learn when I get something wrong. I am proud of myself and my school. I am one of the lucky pupils that gets to come to this school.’
